Our Studio
At Water Street Sound, we're committed to doing our part to protect our clients and employees from COVID. Below you will find the enhanced infection control measures and other safeguards we have implemented on your behalf.
Our Clients
As a client of Water Street Sound, you will be expected to:
- Present negative results from a COVID test taken no more than 48 hours before your session. PCR tests are preferable. At-home tests acceptable.
- Bring your up-to-date vaccination card, including booster record.
- Have your temperature taken upon arrival to ensure below 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Wear an appropriate face mask. N95, KN95, and KN94 are preferred. Cloth masks acceptable.
- Practice appropriate personal hygiene, including washing hands regularly with soap and water for 20 seconds
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue.
- Limit direct physical contact. No handshakes or hugs.
- Be prepared to maintain a social distance at least 6 feet with all other clients and employees.
- Immediately report symptoms should they develop while at the studio. Stay home if you have a temperature or are experiencing COVID symptoms.

Our Environment
At Water Street Sound, you can be assured that we will:
- Provide sanitation stations-with hand sanitizer, tissues, and thermometer-throughout the studio.
- Wipe down all commonly used surfaces with disposable, disinfecting wipes after every use.
- Similarly disinfect the studio's common areas, including lobby, restrooms, eating areas, light switches, handrails, seating, and entry doors.
- Use a UVC wand to disinfect electronic and other surfaces not conducive to disinfectant wipes.
- Strategically place HEPA portable air purifiers throughout working and common areas.
- Keep HVAC air intake dampers open to maximize outside air coming into the building and ensure air flow is safely directed.
- Limit session attendance to clients and essential employees.
- Stagger session start times to limit exposure to other clients
- Closely monitor the CDC and District of Columbia COVID-19 guidelines to provide the most current safety protocols.
